Getting ready for Kylee

Last week we purchased a bed and new linens for the girls' room. The girls will share a room but not for lack of space but because I can visualize many nights of giggles and whispers and many secrets will be told in that room (not to mention venting about their parents!).

Hopefully the girls will have many fond memories of those nights! More on this topic 10 years from now.

I made room in the closet for Kylee's clothes and hung up her things, I'm guessing at the size(s) so I might be doing a lot of shopping when we return from China! I didn't purchase shoes since those are very size specific and I figure I can always buy shoes in China. We have a few boxes of Mia's earlier toys and hopefully she will enjoy playing with them as much as Mia.

Kylee's side of the bathroom is stocked with all the essentials and we truly hope she loves the Princesses as much as Mia, because that is what Mia picked out for her sister! We have Princess toothpaste (according to Mia it taste better than the Little Einsteins) and a Princess toothbrush.

We bought Kylee's Christmas present this weekend even though I don't believe she will be home for the Holidays (but we continue to pray that we receive a consulate appointment soon). She now has her very own pink bike with training wheels, of course!
